CYCLE FIT MAINTENANCE COURSE
LEVEL 1– INTRODUCTORY SKILLS
This two-day qualification will give learners the knowledge and skills to complete advanced repairs and maintenance of cycles to set standards in the sector. It will help improve and gain the skills, knowledge and understanding required to undertake cycle maintenance for enjoyment as well as an occupation: complex services, problem solving tasks and mechanical repairs with the use of specialist equipment

LEVEL 2 – DEVELOPING SKILLS
This one-day course is designed for anyone who require a basic knowledge on cycle adjustment. You will learn how to correctly size your bicycle and others to your student, carry out a pre ride inspection and learn basic maintenance and roadside repairs
Course Fee £150 per person
LEVEL 3– CONSOLIDATION SKILLS
The Cycle FIT Course Level One and Level Three are both two days and is an NVQ equivalent standard level one award for Level One and an NVQ standard level two award for Level Three.
These two courses are delivered exactly in the same way, the difference being in the assessment process. Those students during assessment require additional support in order to achieve, will be graded at the first level. Those students who complete tasks etc, unaided will be awarded level 3.
